I believe it's important to stay involved in my community.

I am a member of CCAW, Central Coast Association of Wakeboarding. We have day trips out to the various local lakes, and in June we have the big Gradu-wake-tion event at Lake Lopez. The whole group is  a lot of fun.

I am also a member of the newly formed club on campus for awareness and fundraising for Huntington's Disease. My sister is a co-founder of the club, and is very passionate about the cause. She is hoping to get a website going soon. Right now we are working on putting on a Hike through Poly Canyon for disease awareness.

Most recently, I have been helping to put together a Rotary Club at Cal Poly. We had our first unofficial meeting on Tues. Oct. 7th, and began to brainstorm ideas for the group. Our most recent event was the Creek Clean up in late September. I am very excited to see where the group is headed.
